Last night at the LGBT nightclub Pulse in Orlando, Fla., a senseless attack on the LGBT community took place. With 50 reported killed and 52 injured, the tragedy is the worst mass shooting in recent United States history. We offer our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of those affected, and we are reminded of the urgent need to continue our work in schools to eliminate anti-LGBT bias and violence.
Please consider participating in one of these events across the country in remembrance of the victims of this tragedy. Additional updates and events can be found at www.weareorlando.org.
